My approach

Tailor-Made Classes

In my individual language instruction, I focus on tailoring each lesson to the specific needs, goals, and interests of the student. I begin by assessing their current level and identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I develop a personalized plan that integrates listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a balanced and engaging way. I believe that a learner-centered approach helps build confidence and motivation, which are key to language acquisition.

Encouraging Communication

I emphasize real-life communication and practical language use, encouraging students to express themselves freely and naturally. In addition to grammar and vocabulary, I incorporate cultural elements and authentic materials—such as articles, videos, and dialogues—to deepen understanding and keep lessons dynamic. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and are inspired to take an active role in their learning journey.

FAQ

  • First, we'll schedule an initial 30- to 40-minute session where we get to know each other, and you explain your goals and why you want to learn the language. Based on this, we'll then create a course plan together.


  • For European and American students, I charge between $25 and $40 per hour, depending on the level. In Mexico, I charge between 500 and 1,500 Pesos. I offer both individual lessons and lesson packages.


  • I'm completely spontaneous and open-minded about that. I'm available for lessons via Zoom at any time. I currently live in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, so if you happen to live nearby, we can meet in person.
